What is LuvvBugg?
Share your love life through LuvvBugg! Friends can follow along online & through SMS, giving you advice, support and some comic relief as you go from the first date to falling in love.
You can also post pictures during a date and of course, there is the option to keep the date private so only your friends can see it. However, it’s more fun when the rest of the world can follow along!
How do I access LuvvBugg?
You can start your own date or comment on other dates through www. LuvvBugg.com or send short messages through Mobile Phone SMS Texts (Text: 41411 & start your message with “LBUG”). For example, LBUG I’ve Found True Luvv!
How do I find my Friends?
After signing up here (embed www.LuvvBugg.com) you can import your friends from your Email Account, search for them by their LuvvBugg UserName or send them an Email invite through LuvvBugg.

How do I enable my SMS Texts on my Mobile Phone?
LuvvBugg is more fun when you can get and send SMS Texts via your Mobile Phone. It let’s you get real time advice and you can share a laugh with your friends immediately. To enable Texts, go to “My Profile” (embed link) in the Upper Right Hand Corner and fill in your phone number in the 4th box. Click the “Save Updates” button at the bottom and you should receive a confirmation text from 41411. Respond with a “y” and you should get a final confirmation message acknowledging you have signed up. Now you are all set to start a date or respond to others with a text to 41411 and remember to start your message with LBUG (lower case letters work fine).
Apologies but LuvvBugg only works on SMS in the United States. Remember standard charges for Text Messages apply.
Who has access to my dispatches?
You control who can see your dispatches and comments. The default setting on a date is Public, however you can make your date Private by changing the 5th box on the New Date screen. If you are commenting on a public date through the Site or via Text, remember everyone can see you message. If it’s a Private Date, then only the friends of the person who started the date can see your comments.
Your followers read your updates, and anyone else who comes across them in a search. All public updates are posted to the public timeline (accessible from your home page in the Everyone tab.) Your Twitter profile is public by default; if you're hesitant to have strangers read your updates, protect your profile to approve followers and keep your updates out of search.
How do I Reply to a Date via Text SMS?
If you are out on the town and want to respond to a funny comment or an S.O.S from a friend via Text, just send a text to 41411, and start your message with LBUG @Username. For example, “LBUG ElectricSmile I can’t believe that guy is wearing pink socks! Find out what color his underwear is!!!”
Can I Block or Stop Sharing with Someone?
Spam and harassment is not tolerated on LuvvBugg. We’re here for fun and to provide support to the Dating Public. If you want to block someone, just go to your Friends page (embed URL) and click Block next to their name. If you don’t want to Share with someone anymore, go to the “Sharing With” tab on your Friends page and click the Trash can next to your name. You will stop sharing with them.
How do I share my date on my Blog or Website?

See that handy Share This link on the specific date page under the general date information on the right? Click that link and pick your specific blogging platform to embed the date on. You can also paste in the HTML link.
Who’s Sharing with Me and Who Am I Sharing With?
Go to your Friends link in the upper right hand corner. The first list you see is the people who are Sharing With You. Click the second tab above the list and you can who you are Sharing With. If you want to stop sharing with someone, click the garbage can next to their name. If you don’t want to see someone’s dates, click the Block link next to their name.
How do I recognize an especially Luvvly Dispatch or Comment?

Click the “Luvv” link at the bottom of a comment and you’ve recognized the greatness of that post. We’ll tabulate the best LuvvBugg-ers and they’ll appear in Featured Dates and on our LuvvBugg Hall of Fame. Don’t forget to rate a date by clicking the number of stars you award it. This feedback is used to calculate Featured Daters and Hall of Famers too.
LuvvBugg isn’t working right. What do I do?
